HOW IT ALL BEGAN

Liquidity Aleworks was born on a sunny afternoon in March of 2021. Ray had been planning a brewery for some time before then and as he sat at Mad Science Brewing Company, he laid out the plans for what would become Liquidity Aleworks to Billy. Both Billy and Ray were avid homebrewers, and they soon began brewing some delicious beer together. I mean they were delicious if you will take the opinion of this completely non-biased storyteller.

It wasn’t all fun and kettle cleaning though. There were meetings with representatives from local government, equipment manufacturers, and so many venders. Site issues forced our dynamic duo to abandon their original location in August of 2021. The hunt was on for a new location.

They searched high and low, east and west and considered every possible location. After dozens of calls and many rejections our dynamic duo narrowed their search down to just three locations.

In the end the beautiful bank on Main street Mt. Airy was chosen as their home.

In June of 2022 Ray and Billy hired Eric to be their head brewer. Eric took the recipes Billy and Ray had been working on and helped them scale them up to production volumes. Now our three amigos collaborate on every brew.

After many set backs the bank building was sufficiently finished for the brewery to start brewing in October of 2022. On November 10th Liquidity Aleworks opened it’s doors to the public for the first time.
